investigations to prevent the payment of fraudulent claims.
Loss control assistance To help you keep your premiums as low as possible, we
will help you create and follow an effective loss control program tailored specifically to
your business. It’s a service we offer to all of our commercial customers. They
will:
- Survey your premises and operations to identify potentially dangerous conditions, such
as fire hazards and unsafe procedures.
- When requested, they’ll also conduct pre-OSHA evaluations for noise abatement and
machine-guarding programs.
- Develop a written corporate loss control statement. This includes policyholder reports
that identify losses by type of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. You can then use these
reports to analyze your safety needs.
- Prevent or reduce the risk of injuries and/or diseases related to your business. They do
this by training your employees in general safety practices, as well as practices specific
to your industry. All safety programs are coordinated with posters, films for safety
meetings, defensive driving courses and supervisory safety training.
- Help develop a complete in-house accident investigation program.
- Provide guest speakers, films and safety materials to schools and civic groups to
heighten safety awareness in the surrounding community.
